Anantacāritra

Anantacāritra ( Japanese 無 辺 行 , muhengyō , dt. Unlimited practice ) is a bodhisattva . He is mentioned in the 15th chapter of the Lotus Sutra called Welling (by multitudes of bodhisattvas) from the earth , along with the bodhisattvas Supratisthitacaritra ( practice of peaceful state ), Viśuddhacāritra ( pure practice ) and Viśistacāritra ( excellent practice ). It symbolizes eternity as part of the characteristics of Buddhahood.
