Ammunitionless

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ammunition lot is a label for the batch of firearms ammunition .

Only ammunition loaded under exactly the same conditions (same day, same batch of propellant) will always have the same point of impact later. The number of the ammunition lot is usually printed on the outer packaging, or at least on a packing slip. Target marksmen and hunters therefore try to get ammunition from the same lot, because then they do not have to re- fire the weapon .
