The Musée Rodin de Meudon is a museum dedicated to the work of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin in Meudon , southwest of Paris .

The Louis-Treize- style house was bought by Rodin on December 19, 1895 in order to be able to pursue his creative work there - in addition to the studios in Paris. Auguste Rodin died in Meudon on November 17, 1917. On November 24th he was buried in the park of his estate in Meudon next to his wife Rose Beuret. Today the area serves as a museum, which shows many studies of his works in the large studio as well as parts of his house.
