Musaeus (Author)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Musaeus (probably lived in the 1st half of the 1st century AD) was an ancient Roman author of erotic writings. He was probably a contemporary of Martial and is mentioned in his writings. After that, like Sabellus , he must have written a textbook of love that has not survived today, and which, by today's standards, can be classified as pornographic in its heartiness.
