Museo Cementerio San Pedro

The Museo Cementerio San Pedro is a cemetery and museum in the Colombian city of Medellín . The cemetery has existed since 1842; It officially became a museum in 1998 and has been a national monument since 1999 . It is administered by the Fundación Cementerio de San Pedro Foundation .

The Museo Cementerio is the first cemetery in Latin America to be recognized as a museum by the International Council of Museums (ICOM).
