The Museo de Arte Italiano is a museum in Lima . It is the only one in Peru that deals with European painting. It opened on November 11, 1923.

collection

The collection was founded by Mario Vannini Parenti, who procured more than 200 works of art from Italy for the museum. These include sculptures, paintings, drawings, prints and ceramics. Due to its collecting activity, the museum can present works from all regions of Italy.
