Museo de Escultura Enrique Salaverría

The Museo de Escultura Enrique Salaverría is an art museum in the Salvadoran capital of San Salvador . The exhibition hall is located in Parque Cuscatlán .

The museum, founded in 1999, presents over 80 works in different materials by the well-known Salvadoran sculptor and architect Enrique Salaverría (1922–2012). Among the exhibits in the museum's outdoor area is a special work by Enrique Salaverría, the Surrealism- style sculpture Movimiento y Mujer (movement and women) carved from cedar wood . The sculpture has a height of around 3.5 meters and a diameter of around 1.20 meters. In 2007, Enrique Salaverría was the first sculptor in El Salvador to be awarded the Premio Nacional El Salvador for his work .

Visiting the museum is free.
