The Museo di Firenze com'era ("Florence as it was") was the city history museum of Florence .

The museum was founded in the second half of the 19th century and was located on Via dell'Oriuolo in the former Convento delle Oblate monastery .

Its holdings included collections from the Etruscan and Roman eras up to the urban redevelopment of the Wilhelminian era . Numerous vedutas explained the urban development of the city, especially the lunettes of the Medici villas by Giusto Utens . The hotly discussed “redevelopment” of the city in the 19th century and Giuseppe Poggi's plans from the short capital city period (1865–1871) were also presented.

The museum closed on October 10, 2010. The collection was split up. A part is exhibited in the Palazzo Vecchio , the collection of the lunettes of the Medici villas in the Villa La Petraia .
