The Museu de Arte Sacra de São Paulo is a museum for sacred, Christian art in the city of São Paulo ( Brazil ). The museum, housed in the former Mosteiro da Luz monastery, mainly shows sacred pictures, sculptures, jewelry and furniture, mainly from the 16th to 20th centuries. In an annex it houses a collection of nativity scenes . A significant part of the exhibits come from churches in São Paulo and Brazil.

The museum was founded in 1970 as a result of an agreement between the government and the Archdiocese of São Paulo . In addition to the exhibition, the museum has a library and a research center. It also carries out museum educational activities.

The museum building (Mosteiro da Luz) was built in the 18th century. The government of the state of Sao Paulo considers the building to be the most important example of colonial architecture in São Paulo from this period.
