The Museum Spur is an art museum opened in 1991 in Cham .

The late Gothic building, a former poor house, built in the 16th century, southwest of the Biertor on the Regen River, is one of the oldest secular buildings still in existence in Chams. The museum shows paintings, sculptures and works on paper by the group SPUR , which came together in Munich in the 1950s.

The works shown in the Museum SPUR are beyond the holdings of the museum on loan from private collections, museums and galleries or the “Kunstverein Museum SPUR”. In annually changing exhibitions, aspects of the work of the SPUR group are presented or individual exhibitions by group members are organized. Lectures, film screenings, readings, etc. complement the exhibitions. In addition to the exhibition activities, the museum sees itself as a place of documentation where materials about the SPUR group are collected.
