Marcel Chauvigné (born September 24, 1911 in Nantes , † July 2, 1972 ibid) was a French rower .

biography

Marcel Chauvigné appeared at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin together with Jean Cosmat and the two brothers Marcel and Fernand Vandernotte in a four-man team . Fernand's twelve-year-old son Noël acted as helmsman . The crew won the bronze medal behind the German and Swiss boats. The crew had already won the silver medal at the European Championships in Lucerne two years earlier .
