Museum of Vučedol Culture

The Museum of Vučedol Culture ( Croatian Muzej vučedolske kulture ) is a museum founded in 2015 in northern Croatia that deals exclusively with the eponymous culture . It was founded near Vukovar (Vučedol 252) in Vučedol , an archaeological site which in turn gave its name to the late Neolithic culture.

The site on the right bank of the Danube, first examined in 1897, is located around 4 km downstream from Vukovar. A first settlement can be found around 6000 BC. Prove that the Vučedol culture existed around 3000 to 2200 BC. The museum was built below the mountain on which the excavation site is located.

The house includes a library and 19 exhibition rooms.
