Lukas Schauder (born January 14, 1997 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German student and politician Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . In the state elections in Hessen in 2018 , he received a mandate in the State of Hesse .

After graduating from the Eichendorffschule in Kelkheim in 2015 , Lukas Schauder began studying law at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . He has been a member of the Green Youth since 2011 and Alliance 90 / The Greens since 2012. Since 2016 he has held a mandate in the district council of the Main-Taunus district . Until he moved into the Hessian state parliament, he was an employee of the Bundestag member Kordula Schulz-Asche . His main topics are civil rights, anti-racism and democracy politics. He is involved in the "Antifascist Education Initiative eV". He is also a member of Greenpeace and Amnesty International .

He ran in 2018 in the constituency of Main-Taunus I , where he received the second-highest number of first votes with 19.5% after the directly elected CDU member Christian Heinz , and was elected to the state parliament via the state list of his party. In the parliamentary group of the Hessian Greens, he acts as a spokesman for the prevention of extremism, the promotion of democracy and the penal system. He is a member of the Interior Committee, the Legal Committee, and chairman of his parliamentary group in the Prison Sub-Committee.
