The Museum of Capitalism is a project at Köpenicker Straße 172 in Berlin-Kreuzberg , which deals with aspects of capitalism . The first exhibition opened on June 27, 2014. A second exhibition took place from July to November 2015. In 2017 the museum exhibited for a week in Hamburg-St. Pauli . On February 23, 2018, the museum opened its first permanent exhibition in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

The museum tries to explain capitalism in its exhibition. Five exhibition rooms deal with needs and exclusions , mechanisms, crises , colonialism and the beyond of capitalism. The museum tries to establish an open space that is accessible to everyone. The content should also be easy to understand by means of interactive exhibits and thus accessible to everyone.
