The Museum of Sanitary Technology in Gliwice, Upper Silesia , was founded in 2005. It is located in the building of the former sewage pumping station of the central sewage treatment plant at Ulica Thomasa Edisona 16 in the Stare Gliwice district (Old Gliwice). The pumping station dates from the beginning of the 20th century.

History and exhibits

The museum was founded in 2005 after the old building was extensively renovated. Since October 19, 2006, the museum has been part of the Route of Technical Monuments in the Silesian Voivodeship .

In the museum there are u. a. Various historical sanitary fittings, sewage and sewage technologies, the old systems of the pumping station, as well as the modern objects and systems and the control center and laboratories of the sewage treatment plant can be visited during guided tours.
