Museum of Prehistory Koblach

The Museum of Prehistory Koblach in the Vorarlberg community of Koblach is housed on around 100 m² of exhibition space in the community center "DorfMitte". The museum opened in 1990. It essentially consists of a collection of primeval objects and made demonstration models as well as pictures and sketches.

history

The intention to found a museum for prehistory in Koblach had existed for many decades. Koblach was a relatively densely populated area in prehistoric times. The museum was reopened in 2010 after a redesign and is now located in the new community center "DorfMitte".

organization

The museum is managed by the Koblach community. Guided tours are possible upon registration. Entry is free.
