Musikantenbrunnen (Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate)
The lute player fountain or musicians fountain is a work of art in public space on the western side of the Ludwigshain Park in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz .
The lute player was set up in November 1987. The figure was created by artist Toni Preis . The reason was the initially controversial establishment of a musical branch at the Ostendorfer grammar school in Neumarkt.
