Mustafa Hassan Zadeh (born January 25, 1996 in São Paulo ) is an Austrian basketball player of Afghan descent.

career

Zadeh comes from an Afghan family who came to Brazil via Russia and Cuba , where he was born, and later lived in European countries and finally came to Austria. He grew up in Upper Styria and played in the youth of the Kapfenberg Bulls and took Austrian citizenship in 2014. In the 2014/15 season he made the leap into Kapfenberg's Bundesliga squad.

In the 2015/16 season, Zadeh von Kapfenberg was loaned to the second division Basket Flames Vienna . On July 14, 2016, while on vacation in Nice, he was an eyewitness to the attack on the “Promenade des Anglais” .

During the summer break of 2016, Zadeh accepted a contract offer from Bundesliga club BC Hallmann Vienna .
