Mother Svea
The mother Svea ( Swedish Moder Svea ) describes the Swedish national allegory in the form of a woman.
She is usually depicted as a defensive virgin, often flanked by one or two lions. She is considered to be the personification of the "Svea Empire" and thus Sweden .
