action

Park Dong-hun works as a structural engineer for Saman Engineering & Construction. The young Lee Ji-an works there as a temporary worker, runs errands, takes care of receipts and brings the mail. A leadership dispute is raging at the company between the heads of the security inspection team and the design team as the current president, Jang Hoe-jang, is about to leave. There are two camps, and both Dong-hun and Ji-an are involved.

One day, Park Dong-hun received 50 million won (about 40,000 euros) from a courier. Ji-an sees him putting the money in a drawer. Ji-an has big money problems herself, owes 20 million won to a violent loan shark, lives in a poor dump and looks after her old grandmother on her own. She sees an opportunity to solve her problems. She can distract Park and take the money. She gets along well with one of the company's cleaning staff and can turn off the electricity at night to sneak into the office and take the money.

She uses this to pay the loan sharks. But Ji-an changes her mind, creates a distraction in front of the building and steals the money back before the loan shark can discover her. She hands it to the cleaner, who is supposed to say she found the envelope in the trash can. Meanwhile, Park has a big problem and the audit department takes it on. The bribe turns out to be an intrigue by Vice President Do Jun-yeong and Executive Director Yoon Sang-tae. Park Dong-un was supposed to receive the money. He is also Executive Director, is often mistaken for Park Dong-hun and is the opponent of the two. They wanted to get him fired. But someone misspelled the name. When Do and Yoon hear that their plan has gone wrong, they still want to get rid of Park Dong-hun. Do is having an affair with his wife and the two can't stand each other.

But Park Dong-un receives the money and learns that it was found in the garbage. From then on he defended Park Dong-hun. He is now grateful to Lee Ji-an because she practically saved him. Meanwhile, Ji-an happens to be in the elevator with Park Dong-un and Do Jun-yeong, and two of Dos's phones ring. Ji-an takes one out of his pocket and hangs up. With this she saves Do, since nobody is allowed to know about the call. When she later returns the cell phone to him, Do realizes that her hands are nimble and that she is torn. It can be combined well and has already found out that Do is having an affair with Park Dong-hun's wife. Do then hires Ji-an as an in-house spy to get both parks to be sacked.

reception

My Mister received positive reviews. Hoai-Tran Bui von / Film described the series as a refreshingly adult drama about life's difficulties and the relationships that help one overcome them.
