The Myanmar Badminton Federation is the highest national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Myanmar .
history
The Myanmar Badminton Federation was founded in January 1948 and in March 1952 a member of the IBF . In 1959 the association became a founding member of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Asia Confederation , at that time still operating under the name Asian Badminton Confederation . National championships have been held since the 1948/1949 season. The association's headquarters are on Anawrahta Road in Lanmadaw Township in Rangoon . The association is a member of the National Olympic Committee.
