NBZ80

The NBZ80 nanocomputer is an 8-bit single-board computer for educational purposes manufactured by the Italian electronics company SGS-ATES. It was launched on the market in 1980 and is equipped with a Zilog Z80 main processor clocked at 2.4756  MHz and a 4  kB working memory . The main memory can be expanded to a maximum of 16 KB. It also has a 2 KB ROM . The NBZ80 is also equipped with a 30-key keyboard and a single-line 8-character LED display.

The successors are the "NBZ80 Super" and the "NBZ80 NF".

Models

The NBZ80-B had the nanocomputer motherboard, 2 KB ROM as well as dialog and power supply peripherals. The NBZ80-S also had an experimental board . The NBZ80-HL equipment included an 8 KB ROM programmable in BASIC , a 16 KB RAM, as well as a keyboard and a video interface. In addition, a monitor ( TVZ80 ) was available for the HL variant .

It was possible to upgrade the B model to an S model and this in turn to an HL model.
