NK Brotnjo Čitluk (Nogometni klub Brotnjo Čitluk) is a football club from Čitluk , a city in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina . Nogometni klub means "football club", Brotnjo is the name of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian landscape.
history
NK Brotnjo plays for the 2014/15 season in the Druga Liga FBiH , the third highest division in Bosnia and Herzegovina . The club plays its home games in the 7,000-seat Bare stadium. The greatest success so far was winning the Bosnian-Herzegovinian championship in the 1999/2000 season. The following year Brotnjo took part in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League 2000/01 , but failed in the first round to FBK Kaunas ( Lithuania ). The club also failed in the first qualifying round of the 2001/02 UEFA Cup (against Viking Stavanger ) and the 2002 UEFA Intertoto Cup (against FC Zurich ).
