The rail tractor of the series NSB Skb 3 was from 1934 by Norges Statsbaner ( German  Norwegian State Railways in) Norway used. The small locomotive manufactured by NSB Verkstedet Kongsvinger in Kongsvinger was used for smaller transport tasks and for shunting on connecting railways and in stations.

history

The NSB Sk 3 was built in 1934 in the NSB workshop in Kongsvinger. The basis for the construction was an underframe of a freight car, which was equipped with a petrol engine that drove an axle. A small cab was installed for the train driver.

NSB Skb 203

All vehicle series of the Norwegian State Railways were renumbered in 1936. The vehicle called Sk 3 (= ski tractor ) was not given the new designation Skb 203 (= ski tractor bensinmotor ) until around 1942 .

Whereabouts

The locomotive was decommissioned before 1956 and then scrapped.
