The rail tractor of the series NSB Skde 216 was from 1952/54 by Norges Statsbaner ( German  Norwegian State Railways in) Norway used. The small locomotive manufactured by Caterpillar in the USA was used for smaller transport tasks and for shunting on sidings and in train stations.

history

The locomotive was built by Caterpillar in 1942 for an industrial company. A small cab was installed for the train driver.

Between 1952 and 1954 the locomotive was taken over by Norges Statsbaner.

Whereabouts

The locomotive was mainly used in the Oslo-Lodalen depot , decommissioned on February 6, 1973 and then scrapped.
