from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NULTE ( Network of University Language Testers in Europe ) is an association of language test providers from Europe who ensure the quality of foreign language training at universities in their countries. The aim of NULTE is to harmonize and professionalize foreign language training at universities on a European level.

Nulte includes various systems from France (CLES), Spain (CertAcles), the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland (UNILANG), Slovakia and the Czech Republic (UNIcertLUCE), Poland (ACERT) and Germany ( UNIcert ). Since September 2018 these have been linked under the umbrella of CercleS.

Mutual recognition and control, as well as joint projects for the further development of language testing in the context of foreign language training at universities, are core elements of this European network.
