Równica ridge (Polish: Pasmo Równicy) is one of the mountain ridges in the Polish part of the Silesian Beskids .

geography

The ridge is located between the valleys of the mountain rivers of the Brennica and the upper Vistula . The border between the municipalities of Ustroń and Brenna runs across the ridge . The peaks up to 900 m above sea level include the Równica ( 884  m ), Smerekowiec ( 835  m ), Gościejów ( 818  m ), Orłowa ( 813  m ), Trzy Kopce Wiślańskie ( 810  m ), Jawierzny ( 799  m) ) - where the ridge meets the Barania ridge , Kamienny ( 790  m ), Obora ( 790  m ), Tokarnia ( 712  m ), Lipowski Groń ( 743  m ), Żar ( 688  m ), Palenica ( 672  m ) and Skalica ( 487  m ).

The ridge is heavily forested. Originally, mixed forests with beech and fir trees dominated; at present, beech and spruce are the most common. Marked hiking trails from Ustroń and Brenna lead to the ridge .
