The association was founded in 1906. From the 1920s to the 1970s, the ice hockey department of Nacka SK played regularly in the top Swedish league and until the beginning of the 1950s in parallel in the Swedish championship, which was then still held in cup mode . The team last appeared in the 1975/76 season in Division 1, which was still second at the time. The ice hockey department of Nacka SK then merged with the ice hockey departments of Skuru IK and Atlas Copco IF . The merger club initially played under the name NSA-76 , but changed the name to Nacka HK in 1980.
In the years 1926 and 1930, the bandy department of the Nacka SK was each in the quarter-finals of the Swedish championship.
