Nagelring is a sword from the Thidrek saga and modified from the German hero saga. The blade was made by the dwarf Alberich . He hands over the sword to Dietrich von Bern before he kills the giant Grim and his wife Hilde in battle. Later, when Dietrich von Bern acquired Eckesach's sword , he passed Nagelring on to homes .
