Nail scissors

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nail scissors

A nail scissors is a small pair of scissors , thickened slightly with most, slightly curved cutting blades for cutting the nails on fingers and toes.

Some nail scissors are screwed so that they can be readjusted if they are damaged or worn. In particular, cheaper scissors are often only riveted. With a little skill, these can also be readjusted by lightly tapping the hammer, as in production.

Nail scissors with rounded tips are also called baby scissors , because they have the lowest risk of injury and they are mostly used for child and baby care.

Nail files and nail clippers are an alternative to shortening the nails , as small cracks can appear when cutting.

Nail scissors with narrow cutting blades are called cuticle scissors .
