Local traffic in Norderney
The transport in Norderney is manufactured by Peter Tjaden commuter GmbH under the brand name Inselbus Norderney provided. It currently operates five lines on the island of Norderney (as of September 2019) as Norderneyer Nahverkehr (NNV).
history
The Peter Tjaden transport GmbH was established in 1980. The shipping company Norden-Frisia acquired the company shares on November 1, 2012. The trips departing from the port are adjusted to the arrival time of the shipping company's ferries. After a fire in the company's multi-purpose hall, reconstruction work began on the same location in the city's industrial area. The buses used meet the Euro 6 emissions standard and the space available is adapted to the needs of arriving and departing guests with luggage. In April 2018, the company moved into the new office in the new port terminal. In addition to the port terminal, the traffic areas in front of it were completely renewed.
fleet
The company's bus fleet consists of six low-floor buses from MAN , Mercedes and Solaris . All buses are uniformly stuck with advertising for the Norderneyer sea air ham produced on the island .
