Naitauba , Naitamba or Naitaba is an island that belongs to the northern part of the Lau Islands of Fiji . The island of volcanic origin reaches a maximum height of 186 m at its highest point, a flattened mountain top in the southern part. In the past, coconut palms were planted on the approximately 4 km long, 3.4 km wide island to obtain copra , which still dominate the landscape today.

The Canadian actor Raymond Burr bought 1,625 hectares of land on the island in 1965 for copra extraction and cattle breeding . In 1983 Naitaba was sold to Johannine Daist Communion for 2.1 million dollars, whose co-founder Baba Da Free John lived on Naitauba until his death in 2008. A sanctuary or ashram for the believers of the Adidam movement was built on the island .
