Napir-Asu
Napir-Asu was an Elamite queen around 1225 BC. And the wife of Untasch-Napirischa . It is best known from a 1.29 m high bronze statue , which was found in Susa in 1903 and is considered a major work of Elamite art. The head of the work is lost. It shows the queen in a long robe with her hands on her stomach. The figure is now in the Louvre . From a letter it is known that Untash-Napirischa was married to a Babylonian princess, a daughter of Burna-buriaš II . However, it is uncertain whether this is Napir-Asu.
