Nasimshahr or Nasim-Schehr ( Persian نسیم‌شهر, until the Islamic Revolution 1979 Akbarabad اکبرآباد, DMG Akbarābād ) is a city in Iran and the capital of the Baharestan administrative district in the Tehran province .

At the 2006 census, Nasimshahr had a population of 135,824, divided into 31,620 families.
