Nature Reviews Genetics is a monthly scientific journal published by the Nature publishing group . The first edition appeared in October 2000. The journal publishes articles on current topics from all areas of genetics : genomics , functional genomics, evolutionary genetics, genetic technology, gene expression , multifactorial genetics, diseases, chromosome biology , epigenetics , developmental biology , systems biology and networks as well as ethical, legal and social implications of genetics and genomics.
