National Foundation for Infectious Diseases

The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is a US non-profit organization that aims to educate health care workers and the public about infectious diseases. The seat is in Bethesda, Maryland . It was founded in 1973.

The association publishes the journal Infectious Diseases in Clinical Practice and a quarterly newsletter ( The Double Helix ) and organizes courses and conferences.

Her awards include the Maxwell Finland Award .
