The National Wax Museum in Dublin is a wax museum that opened in 1983 .

It consists of several sections: fairy tales and fantasy , famous Irish figures, international celebrities and a cabinet of horrors. The museum was initially located in Parnell Square in the north of downtown. Today the Maldron Hotel Parnell Square stands on the former site of the wax museum.

On October 7th, 2009, the museum was officially reopened in a new location, after having been open to visitors for a few weeks. It is now located in the left wing of the Irish Houses of Parliament on Foster Place and has been renamed The National Wax Museum Plus, WAX + for short .
