National Socialist Student Union
The National Socialist Student Union (NSS or, more rarely, NSSB) was the NSDAP's student organization between 1927 and 1933 .
history
1929 led Adrian von Renteln existing only in individual local associations since 1927 HJ -Schülergruppen together and founded the National Socialist Student Federation as a rich-wide organization. Also in 1929, von Renteln became Reichsführer of the Hitler Youth , an organization which he clearly favored and which, with the support of the party leadership, he endowed with extensive powers. Until June 16, 1932, von Renteln was Reichsführer of the National Socialist Student Union; he was followed by Baldur von Schirach in office.
Between the end of 1932 and the summer of 1933, the NS student union was transferred to the Hitler Youth.
