National road 51 (Algeria)

The national road 51 is a 387 km long road connection in the middle of Algeria running from the northeast in a west-southwest direction . It branches off from national road 1 about 60 km south of al-Menia and leads to national road 6 , which it reaches 126 km north of Adrar .

There are some smaller oases along the way . The only town on the route is Timimoun , about 90 km from the junction with the N 6. In this small town, the former route branches off, which leads via Tiberghamine and Oufrane to Sbaa on national road 6.
