Natural Docs is an open-source - documentation generator and was developed by Greg valure. It is available as free software under the GPL .

Using special comments in the source text , software developers can define explanations for program elements from which Natural Docs creates clear, naturally legible documentation .

Natural Docs is a command line program that can also be executed automatically during compilation . There is no graphical user interface .

Supported programming languages

Natural Docs has full support for C # , Perl, and ActionScript 2 and 3.

Basically, C , C ++ , Java , PHP , Python , PL / SQL , Visual Basic , Pascal / Delphi , Ada , JavaScript , Ruby , Tcl , ColdFusion , Assembler , Fortran (only free format), R , Makefiles , Plain text and supports self-developed languages.

The output is in HTML with or without frames .
