Naturama (Denmark)

New exhibition building

The Naturama is a Zoological Museum in Svendborg . From the opening on June 2, 1935 to January 2005, it was called the Zoologisk Museum . On April 30, 2003, the construction of a new exhibition building began. On September 3, 2003, Queen Margrethe II and Prince Consort Henrik laid the foundation stone. With the inauguration on April 18, 2005, the exhibition area increased from 700 m² to 4,200 m².
