The natural monument group of trees made up of two sycamore maples and one chestnut is located west of Madfeld in the urban area of Brilon . The trees were designated as a natural monument (ND) in 2001 with the Hoppecketal landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . The natural monument is surrounded by the open spaces around Radlinghausen and Madfeld . The ND is near the junction of the county road to Radlinghausen from the state road 637. There are also Aussiedlerhöfe in the area.

Next to the two sycamore maples and the chestnut there are some younger trees and a wayside shrine . The ND is located in the middle of agricultural land. The immediate area is used as grassland.
