Sycamore natural monument on the road between Melbecke and Obermelbecke
The natural monument sycamore on the road between Melbecke and Obermelbecke is a sycamore maple which has been designated as a natural monument (ND) on the road between Melbecke and Obermelbecke in the municipality of Lennestadt . The area was created in 2006 with the landscape plan Elsper Senke - Lennebergland. No. 2 identified as ND by the district of Olpe .
The ND is an approximately 150-year-old sycamore maple. The tree grows as a double trunk and has a trunk diameter of around 100 cm. The tree was shown to be particularly shaped and lively due to its peculiarity, beauty and the landscape.
