Doline side of the natural monument

The Doline Dollseite natural monument with a size of 0.23 hectares is located northeast of Brilon near the large industrial area on the northeastern outskirts. The area was designated as a natural monument (ND) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2008 with the landscape plan of the Brilon plateau . The natural monument is surrounded by the open country complex around the Wülfte / Brilon plateau .

The ND Doline Dollseite is one of the seven natural monuments in the landscape plan of the Brilon plateau which were established as karst phenomena. There are four swallow holes and three sinkholes .

The Doline Dollseite is located in the middle of agricultural land. The sinkhole itself and the immediate surroundings are used as grassland. It can only be recognized by a slight depression. The protection designation was carried out according to the landscape plan to prevent backfilling.
