Slatni Pyassazi Nature Park

The Slatni Pjassazi Nature Park , also called Golden Sands Nature Park , is a 13.2 square kilometer forest area in the Bulgarian Varna Oblast , 9.2 kilometers long and 1.3 kilometers wide. The highest point is a hill 268 meters high.

Flora and fauna

7 amphibian species , 8 reptile species , 70 bird species and more than 20 mammal species should be found in the nature park . It is characterized by centuries-old trees and is home to various protected animal and plant species , some of which are rare. Since February 3, 1943, this nature park has been protected by the state by an ordinance of the Ministry of Agriculture and State Real Estate and has also been designated as a Natura 2000 protected area.
