Naval Reactors
Naval Reactors (often abbreviated as NR , or NAVSEA-08 ) as the US government agency responsible for the nuclear energy program of the US Navy .
The authority is based at the Department of Navy in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and also reports directly to the Chief of Naval Operations and the Department of Energy .
