Nazarabad ( Persian نظرآباد) is the capital of Nazarabad administrative district in Alborz province . In 2016 the city had about 120,000 inhabitants.
geography
The city is located in the southwestern part of Alborz, south of the Elburs Mountains , near Karaj , the provincial capital.
history
Nazarabad is an old place of residence. Archaeologists have found various ancient materials. The present congregation was founded in 2002.
climate
The Köppen-Geiger climate classification system classifies the climate as semi-arid (BSk).
economy
Nazarabad has an industrial area and the area around the city is also a fruit production center.
