Ndidi Kanu (born August 26, 1986 in Abuja , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian soccer player.

Career

society

Kanu started her career in her hometown Abuja with the FTC Queens before moving to Odense BK in Denmark's 3F Ligaen at the beginning of the 2003/04 season. In the summer of 2006 she returned to her Danish club OB for six months after a serious injury. Kanu moved back to Nigeria on loan to Remo Queens in August 2006 and returned to Odense BK in February 2007.

National team

Kanu has been part of the Nigerian women's national football team since 2002 . In the summer of 2003 she was appointed to the 35 woman-strong provisional squad for the 2004 FIFA Women's World Cup. However, she did not make it into the final squad and played the AWC qualification with the B-team in 2004.
