Ned Kelly Award / Best Short Story

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ned Kelly Award : Best Short Story refers to the winner in the Best Short Story category (SD Harvey Short Story Award) , which since 2009 honors the best short story published in the previous year by an Australian or Australian author. The award ceremony is in honor of the Australian journalist, author and well-known intrepid crime reporter Sandra Harvey , who died in 2008. As a special feature, the jury of the Ned Kelly Award annually defines a term in advance, which must be anchored in the story in the title as well as in terms of content. The publisher Scribe Publications Pty Ltd., Carlton North / Victoria, published the winning story in his New Australian Stories . German translations of the short stories are not yet available (as of 09/2015).
