Nederlands Uitgeversverbond

The Nederlands Uitgeversverbond (NUV) is the Dutch trade association for the publishing industry. The association's headquarters are in Amsterdam .

The association was founded in 1996, about 90% of the publishers of newspapers and magazines and book publishers belong to it. It offers its members support in legal and economic matters, and the association also acts as a lobby group in politics and society. The NUV is structured as follows:

Groep Nederlandse Dagbladpers (NDP) Dutch Newspaper Association 35 newspapers

Groep Uitgevers voor Vak en Wetenschap Association of scientific and specialist publishers > 100 members


The member association Nederlandse Dagbladpers (NDP) has awarded the Prijs voor de Dagbladjournalistiek (price for newspaper journalism) every year since 1965 . This is endowed with 4,500 euros and a hiking award and is awarded for special journalistic achievements.
